Annual Meeting - August 19

The 2021 SYBA yearend Annual Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm, Thursday August 19 at the Shakopee American Legion.

Social Hour will be from 6:00-6:30. Voting for board positions will also happen during this time.  The annual meeting will start at 6:30 and should last for about an hour.

 The following Board positions will be up for election:

  • Vice-president - position currently held by Brad Menden
  • Secretary - position currently held by Eric Schroeder
  • Travel Director - position currently held by Aaron Olson
  • In House Director - position currently held by Sean LaCoste
  • Equipment Coordinator - position currently held by Adam Colby

All positions will be for a two-year term.

If you are interest in applying for one of these positions, you will need to submit the attached application by Thursday, August 12th.  The application must be emailed to Shakopee Youth Baseball Treasurer, Allen Larson, via email, at savagelarsons@yahoo.com .  Only emailed requests will be considered for the position - verbal communications are not acceptable

Applicants must also have passed a background check this past year before they are eligible for a Board position.  If you are interested in running for the board and do not have a current background check (less than 12 months old), please send an email to Brad Menden at homes@fandbhomes.com telling him that you are running for an SYBA Board position and you need to complete a background check.  Brad will email you back with instructions on how to complete a background check.
