I wanted to quickly get in touch with you regarding our 2012 Winter Baseball Camp at St. Thomas set to begin this January on campus at the new Anderson Athletic Center. Our focus for this years camp will be working with High School Pitchers & Catchers and we would like to see as many of your players at camp as possible.

We will be working with kids anywhere from grades 6-12 with our primarly emphais focusing on the fundamentals, mechanics and self-improvement excercises and drills designed to help young student athletes be their own best coach.

This camp is designed to work with the athlete over four week period allowing for the individual to retain information and see measurable results over the course of the program.

Pitchers will be videotaped on a regular basis for comparison and evaluations, throw to catchers, throw off mounds and will be put on a radar gun. You will see an increase in velocity improve, arm health improve, and your control improve over the four weeks. Understanding your mechanics is the key to improvement on your own!

Catchers will work on all aspects of catching: throwing, blocking, receiving, pitch selection, and hitting. Catchers will learn drills and exercises to get them ready for the season as well as keep their technique sharp throughout the season.
